1. Service Description
Tokyo Music Adventures provides personal guide services in Tokyo, Japan, similar to food tour guides. We are NOT a ticket sales platform. Our service includes:
- Professional local guides who accompany you to music bars, jazz cafes, and record stores
- Cultural insights and navigation assistance
- Recommendations for music-themed establishments and cultural locations
- Language interpretation and cultural guidance
Important: Most venues we visit are walk-in establishments with table charges or drink minimums (similar to izakayas). You pay these directly at the venue, just as you would at any bar or restaurant.
2. What's Included in Guide Service
- Personal guide's time and expertise
- Route planning and venue recommendations
- Cultural insights and music scene knowledge
- Basic translation assistance
3. What's NOT Included
- Table charges, drink minimums, or venue cover charges
- Transportation costs (trains, taxis, etc.)
- Food and beverages
- Shopping purchases or merchandise
- Additional activities not specified in the guide service
4. Booking and Payment
Our service requires advance booking with a deposit. Full payment terms will be provided upon booking confirmation.
- 48-hour minimum advance booking required
- 50% deposit required to secure booking
- Balance due on tour day
- Payment accepted via bank transfer or cash
5. Cancellation Policy
- 48+ hours notice: Full refund
- 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours: No refund
- Weather-related cancellations: Full refund or rescheduling
6. Liability and Disclaimers
Tokyo Music Adventures provides guide services only. We are not responsible for:
- Venue closures, event cancellations, or changes in venue operations
- Personal belongings, valuables, or purchases
- Individual safety during the tour (customers are responsible for their own safety)
- Additional costs incurred at venues or for personal expenses
7. Age and Venue Requirements
Some music venues may have age restrictions or specific entry requirements. Customers are responsible for:
- Meeting venue age requirements
- Bringing proper identification
- Following venue rules and regulations
- Obtaining any required permits or tickets independently
